Tom Perkins, JD
Senior Vice President, NovaQuest
 Thomas Crawford Perkins, Senior Vice President of NovaQuest, oversees the day-to-day operations of NovaQuest, including deal structuring/negotiation and due diligence. His specific area of specialization includes structuring financial and strategic solutions for biotech and pharmaceutical customers.
Mr. Perkins was a founding member of PharmaBio Development, the predecessor to NovaQuest, serving initially as PharmaBio Development’s General Counsel. During his ten years at Quintiles, he has played a leadership role in the structuring, negotiation and implementation of Quintiles’ most significant partnerships.
Prior to joining Quintiles, Mr. Perkins served as Assistant General Counsel for Coastal Healthcare Group, providing legal support for Coastal’s corporate development activities. He also worked for five years with a large private law firm, focusing on corporate and financial transactions.
Mr. Perkins earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University, with an emphasis on finance and marketing. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
