NovaQuest Executive to Speak at CEO Conference on 'Growth Through Collaboration'
Ron Wooten, Quintiles Transnational Executive Vice President & Director, and President, NovaQuest, will bring his expertise in crafting and managing strategic partnerships to about 60 CEOs from around the world attending the SAP-sponsored conference “Growth Through Collaboration: Transforming the Business Network” in Frankfurt, Germany, April 3-4, 2008. Mr. Wooten has been instrumental in the development and growth of NovaQuest, the strategic partnering group of Quintiles, which manages partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotech companies to which more than $2 billion has been committed.
Hosted by SAP CEO Henning Kagermanny and Deputy CEO Leo Apotheker, the event will focus on opportunities for faster innovation and growth offered by collaborative networks. Event keynote speakers are Geoffrey Moore, best-selling author and Managing Director at TCG Advisors, and Hans-Paul Bürkner, President and CEO of The Boston Consulting Group.
Distinguished academics will lead workgroups on specific aspects of collaboration: open innovation; adaptive business networks; co-creation with customers; and internal collaboration. Mr. Wooten will present a case study to the adaptive business networks workgroup, hosted by Erik Brynjolfssen, Professor of Management, MIT Sloan School of Management.
