 John Bradley serves as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for Quintiles and Chief Financial Officer for NovaQuest. A corporate development executive with a diverse background in both public and private companies, he concentrates his expertise in finance, accounting, acquisitions and investments. He negotiates and structures complex transactions, manages asset portfolios and directs financial reporting of a unit with over $1 billion in commitments and more than $300 million in assets.
Prior to joining Quintiles in 1996 as the vice president of finance, Mr. Bradley led several smaller companies as Chief Financial Officer. He began his career as an analyst for Conoco and RJR Nabisco, moving up to area controller for a business segment of Ryder Systems. During his tenure at Quintiles, he has directed a number of strategic transactions in acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, strategic sourcing and debt issuance. He has raised hundreds of millions of dollars to fund research and development on an at-risk basis, and has played key roles in takeover transactions.
Mr. Bradley earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Wake Forest University, where he continued his studies to acquire an MBA. Licensed as a certified public accountant in North Carolina, he belongs to state and national organizations for CPAs.
